Relatively OT: Feasibility of Madden 21+NCAA
hopefully this isn’t the worst post of a slow content week.
Ever since playing the madden 20 demo back in the summer, I’ve had this NCAA Football video game itch. I almost bought a PC just to play the madden cfb mod. But, ended up buying a ps3 and ncaa football Denard.
MgoLawyers and Video game wizards, I need your minds for a minute. Nba2k and madden have both had college teams in their games since the death of EA NCAA football. So it’s not like colleges aren’t willing to allow developers to use their licenses.
Is it feasible that madden could have a ncaa football dlc with college teams made up of alumni in the nfl? Since ultimate team is their money maker, maybe they have ultimate team cards for the college version of the players.

I'm not a lawyer; but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express when I was 12, and I don't think it's gonna happen.

Not a lawyer but have some experience with NIL and it’s feasible but would take a lot of time and effort to lock up the player licensing. It would be easier and more profitable to just make NCAA again.
It would be nice if Madden ever actually became a better game season-to-season though.

I just finished season 2030 of ncaa 14 and madden 25. Ironically I recruited a kid (randomly generated) in NCAA named Donovan Jones. He was I a hard hitting free safety I converted to MLB. I'm just about to draft him into Madden. Career Record of 102 Sacks.
I was so far ahead in NCAA it took me three years to finally catch up in Madden with the draft classes.
