recruiting - economic model predicting where recruits will go
For those who are always asking - what are the chances X recruit goes to Michigan - now you have your scientific answer.

The model claims a 75% success rate in predicting what school a recruit will choose.
This model is predicting that Mingo will pick Michigan, but that Robinson goes to Florida.
Don't know if it factors in for snake oil.

I guess Morgan Moses is gonna be one of the 25% guys....given that he's eliminated two of the top three schools on his predicted list.

I am no statistician and dont know how a 75% predictive rate is any better than the Sam Webb's of the world at predicting, but it is interesting.

a 75% correlation is better than can be expected for most social/economic models.
when I was doing consumer studies using regression analysis we thought a 30% correlation was good
