Quick Update - Game Day Charity Beer Garden Cancelled for 2019 Season
Sad news MGoCommunity.
A favourite tailgate sport for many, the Game Day Charity Beer Garden supporting the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor is cancelled for the 2019 season due to construction at the former East Hoover Street site (just down from Revelli Hall). The CSC does indicate a desire to return for 2020.

Not sure if there are any other charity tailgate options for those looking to a) drink and b) support worthy causes.

This is truly tragic news.
I hit this tailgate up every game without fail. There as always a good choice of food either from the trucks on the lot or a stone throw away on Hoover and a good variety of beer. Fun place just to hang out before the game and catch the end of the preceding games when applicable.
Glad I found out here so I know to not go there tomorrow at least. I will have to find alternatives for this season and I certainly hope to see it make a comeback next season.

This is a real bummer. This was a great option if you didn’t feel like packing up all your stuff, and on a cold windy day their garage area was a great break from the elements.
