I used to check Freep/Detnews and ESPN every day for M stories.  I had an incurable desire to know what the team was doing right now to improve.  Nervously waiting on the Cullen Christian announcement like a sick relative sealed my own commitment - I had to find a better outlet.  Blogosphere is not my thing, but the writing of Brian and Tim set this site aside.  It's the content I want, every day.  Demar Dorsey made me sign up and start posting. 

Take the annual price of a typical sporting mag subscription and double it.  Much of what they write you don't care about anyway.  There is very llittle of that on Mgoblog.
