A plea to those who double-post: please don't change the subject line!

I assume I am not alone in the fact that I use the MGoBoard as an occasional source of news, and to see the opinions of other fellow M fans on occasion. That is to say I don't obsessively check the MGoBoard, but I do occasionally find the content listed on the sidebar interesting/amusing/entertaining. If it doesn't appear on the sidebar, it doesn't get my attention. I realize that the obsessive board checkers here do not take kindly to double posts, however another trend is arising which is far more annoying: the deletion of the original subject line. The MGoBoard is generally not useful to somebody like myself, however it becomes completely pointless if the entire front page is covered with things like "Double Post - Delete." If it's a multi-post, the news is probably important enough that even the casual MGoBoard reader wants to see it. If you come across this situation, leave the subject as it is so that we can at least see what the fuss is about and link to the original post if necessary. Thanks!

Sounds good. Sometimes the second post can still contain good information or comments that are useful despite the double post. If the double posts occur several days apart, it's possible that there are people who have missed it the first time around, so a repeat shouldn't be harassed so much.

... Moving your mouse cursor and clicking takes how long again? I mean, you could have saved the energy and time you used to create this post and clicked the over arrow once a day for the next 3 months.
