Personal opinion of what could be...

IMO...this is Michigan. This is a team of Michigan student-athletes. Anyone who says that these coaches aren't doing their job is out of their mind. They come to work well before any of the players, and leave well after any leave. This is a tough job that was undertaken, and IMO it seems most people feel it would be a simple transition. These Michigan players/coaches will be fine. The players are a bunch of bright young men who have had a hard time getting the job done play after play. We have all seen bits and pieces of the offense that will, god-willing, be lighting up scoreboards in the seasons to come. Not making a bowl game may not be to bad of a situation to be in for this young team. IMO this will give the players returning a chance to get in with Barwis for an entire off season and understand what they'll be getting themselves into. It gives the players there right now a chance to watch film, and work in their own position groups. If and when we get these early enrolled players they will also be given a chance to compete. I'm excited to see where this group is after Spring camp. RR will not let this team be in the same situation, they will be better. I'm excited to see what this group of players is going to do when they are given a chance to forget about games for a little bit, and focus on the players and team in Ann Arbor. They will not have to worry about game planning for another squad, rather they will be given a chance to work on the faults that have hurt them during this rough 2008 season. I just want to say thank you to all that have been able to keep a sane mind, and understand just what is going on with this team. GO BLUE!!
