OT: Weeds Season 1 Episode 8
For those of you who don't watch the show, it is a great one. Anyways in episode 8 of season 1 they talk about college fight songs and come to the consensus that UM has the best one and they talk about UM a little. For some reason this made me really happy and I decided to share. Good night.

You ever catch the part in Entourage when Ari Gold says he got his JDMA( i think?) from Michigan and then Eric says, "oh yeah, Michigan, they have a good football team!"
In Sopranos there is a part when Carmela's cousin, who went to Michigan, asks Tony a question and Tony goes, "University of Michigan, you figure it out!".

Yes I do remember that Ari Gold got his JD from UM. It made me proud even though its fiction.

"What are you a Rhodes Scholar?" "No I'm just a lowly Harvard grad with a JD MBA from Michigan" funny stuff.
On a side note, that awful movie "Jumper" is partially filmed in Ann Arbor, and you see some U of M stuff in it.

how many people watch LOST, but they have a UM reference. Gerald and Karen DeGroot created the Dharma Initiative, and were UM attendents.

There is not enough time in the day for BOTH WoW and MGB.

I've never played WoW, but that is totally true. mgoblog is pretty much a MMO in my mind. Whenever I see the online series "The Guild" I always imagine the WLA being like that.

House and Cuddy.

It probably due to the size of the U and the proliferation of writing and arts grads. All those NYC and LA kids make good and spread the good word.

Article on the Daily a few years back. Not mentioned yet was the Green Lantern(!).
Also in the Harrison Ford movie Air Force One it is implied that the president went to Michigan. In more than one scene he is seen watching a Notre Dame Michigan game with him rooting for us. In another scene a side character tells him hes also happy Michigan won the game. So two president Fords.

Guy Gardner was never THE Green Lantern. He was a member of the Green Lantern Corps. like many other characters. He's also written as a jingoistic asshole parody, so really not too sure you should be proud.
