OT: UVA Fraternity Rape story appears to have been fabricated

The MGoBoard was where I first found out about this story, and people seemed to be rightfully upset and disturbed at the time over it. This is simply an update.

So just a brief backstory, there was a story in Rolling Stone a couple weeks ago about UVA Student Jackie Coakley claiming that she was brutally raped at a fraternity. It appears that Rolling Stone didn't actually check any of the facts of the story, and after more digging the story appears to be a complete fabrication by the victim.

Not only this, but the victim had apparently made false rape accusations in the past. This story is just an example of Journalism going farther down the toilet in an effort to sensationalize and stir controversy. The writer who published the article appears to have been suspended by Rolling Stone. I feel bad for some of the Fraternity members who were unnecessarily dragged through the mud by a girl who appears to be obsessed with rape.
