OT: This season is shaping up to be bizarre...
Let's see...
Texas got curb-stomped at home by UCLA, then curb-stomped undefeated Nebraska in Lincoln
Florida has lost three straight games, something not even Ron Zook managed to do
Michigan State is the only undefeated team in the Big Ten
South Carolina upset Alabama, then got bitten in the ass by Kentucky
There are two undefeated teams in the SEC, and they're coached by Les Miles and Gene Chizik
Boise State will probably play for the National Championship
Boise State might play TCU for the National Championship
...am I missing anything?

We are capable of posting 530 yards on one of the best defenses in the land and still losing to them.

VA Tech lost a nailbiter to Boise and then loses to James Madison but will probably end up winning the ACC.

Looked pretty impressive at the time. Any FCS over FBS is worth taking note of though.

TCU vs. Boise better not be the Title game. They played each other in bowl games the last two years, its boring to pit two non-AQ teams against each other. If Boise plays TCU for the title, whoever wins will always be questioned for not playing a real title contender. It will be far more interesting and convincing if whoever is ranked higher between Boise/TCU plays in the title against a 12-0 Oregon team or a 12-1 (after the SEC title game) Alabama team, or something of that nature.
For the record, I'm not saying Boise or TCU wouldnt be the best team, or incapable of winning. I'm merely saying having a scenario where the two "upstart non-AQ" teams play each other for yet another year would be really, really bad.

OK - I'll say it - Boise St and TCU wouldn't be the best team or capable of winning, against Oregon or Alabama.

this is the title game the BCS needs to be forced to play. Then they can scrap the BCS and get a playoff because nobody would attend a title game of Boise State vs TCU it would get horrbile ratings and be horrible in general. So with that being said I hope the title game is two no AQ teams to put up closer to getting rid of the BCS!

As I have said all along, the BCS deserves a dog of a "championship game" to fully illustrate to even the most stupid and obstinate how screwed-up the current system is. The bottom line is that there needs to be a playoff involving six BCS conference champions and two at-large berths decided by play-in games during conference championship week.
Wouldn't it be great if the "BCS Championship" game only got about half of its normal ratings and the sponsors put a lot of pressure on the networks for compensation? Once the networks are convinced that a playoff has to happen, it is only a matter of logistics.
