OT: MSU shooting survivor John Hao receives gifts from Philadelphia 76ers' James Harden

One of the MSU campus shooting survivors just got some wonderful gifts from an NBA player.

John Hao (one of the survivors of the MSU campus shooting) recently was the beneficiary of some awesome gifts from Philadelphia 76ers' player James Harden. Harden gifted Hao a FaceTime call, multiple sets of sneakers (including a pair worn in a game), and a donation to Hao's GoFundMe page for medical expenses (his injuries include paralysis from the waist down).

Youtube video from Good Morning America:

Kudos to Mr. Harden, and gratitude to those giving care to and/or caring about Mr. Hao. And keep fighting the good fight, John Hao.

Awesome gesture! Wishing John a full recovery (I know he's currently paralyzed - prayers for a "miracle").

I'll stop there because these tragedies always take me from sad when in the moment to angry when I see stuff like this. Heartwarming stuff from Harden, should've never been needed (through this particular circumstance). Thanks for sharing the video!

I go to church in East Lansing with several MSU students. So happy to see this young man experience some joy. Can tell you that it has been gut wrenching for many over here. Thank you for sharing this. This UM guy has a soft heart towards MSU. #spartanstrong
