OT: Maurice Clarett gets an A

And my favorite part is how he, yes, blames the "media" for reporting on the bad things he did in the past. Right. It had nothing to do with a gun, declaring early for the NFL draft, or showing up fat and out of shape to mini-camp. Always someone else. Oh well, this 25-year-old can hopefully lead his high school aged son down the right path.

His writing is actually pretty decent. I mean, not as a "writer" but he seems to have learned to write as well as most people his age can. If he stops doing things like conspiring to kill witnesses with assault weapons then he could maybe do ok in life...

We don't know much about the environment he grew up in or the challenges he had to deal with. Obviously he made many poor choices in life, but we should be hoping the best for him. I think we should be able to put the UM-OSU rivalry aside when discussing whether someone like this can turn his life around.

I think I knew that Maurice Clarett was smart but a little crazy. He seems to have matured a lot. He really believes that he can get out of this mess and finally do something with his life, and you know what? So do I. He seems very determined to grow and achieve. I am proud for the guy.
