OT: M Cycling Team Kit

Submitted by Blue In NC on July 10th, 2019 at 3:31 PM

I was looking for a new cycling jersey so I checked on the Michigan Cycling team site.  I am posting as there has been some level of interest in these orders from prior years.

More information about the Michigan Cycling team can be found here: http://www.umcycling.org/  I have no affiliation with the team, just posting it because I have ordered before and just submitted another order.

The supplier of the gear is again Pactimo.  I have ordered a Pactimo M Club jersey, bib shorts and arm warmers from a previous year and I am very happy with the fit, performance and look. My understanding is that some portion of the proceeds goes to help the team.

Here is the site to view the gear:  https://teamstore.pactimo.com/stores/university_of_michigan_alumni/show

According to the site, the team order closes on July 24th, and the gear is delivered in late August. Enjoy.

Regarding sizing did you have an experience with the Primal stuff before the switch to Pactimo?  I ask because I got burned by a Primal order which didn't even come remotely close to fitting (couldn't exchange it, return it, and tried to sell it on eBay with no luck).

I find Primal's fit to be a full size too small.

Curious if anyone has experience with both brands to compare and contrast.

Yes, I got a round of the Primal stuff in a previous year.  The sizing I ordered was fine for me and I am still using it.  But I don't remember if I ordered the same sizes that I did for the Pactimo ones without checking.

FWIW, the Primal stuff was fine but I prefer the Pactimo ones.

I would love to wear some UM kit, but there are too many frick'n Buckeyes living in the Phoenix area. I would literally be taking my life into my hands...

btw- Pactimo runs slightly large, at least in comparison to Voler.

FWIW Michigan Wolverine in good standing Rusty Woods is riding in the Tour de France this year. He's actually got a chance (not a huge chance, but a chance) to make some noise in a stage or something.

Well I walked the line on that one.  Called it a kit in the title but referred to gear, bibs and jerseys in the body.  So something for everyone!

FWIW, "kit" to me denotes a matched or coordinated grouping as opposed to one type of jersey and one type of bibs.  But I am not sure that is the true distinction.

Hello! I don't cycle as a professional. I only like camping with a bike. For it, I need the special equipment. I bought Trailblazer Schwinn bike trailer to feel more comfortable because I need to carry many things and there no space withing the bicycle.
