OT Law school question for mgolawyers

Submitted by milla61 on

I know today is a big day with the basketball and hockey teams playing in conference tournaments and Conley committing today but I have a question for the mgolawyers.  I have recently been accepted to Iowa, Wisconsin, Chicago-Kent, and State for law school (didn't get in to Michigan).  I received a letter from State today stating that if I enroll I will receive a 75% scholarship, I'm still waiting to hear from the other schools on scholarship info.  My question is would it be wise to go to a better school with little or no scholarship or take State up on the 75%?  I am going to be quitting a decent paying job (it's in manufacturing so you can probably understand why I am changing careeers) this fall and am worried about my prospects after law school.  According to U.S. News stastics on average pay and employment percentages Iowa, even without a scholarship, appears to be the best choice but I know those numbers are a little skewed based on the low number of graduates who actually respond to the surveys.  Any insight you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
