OT: Kurt Warner

Submitted by MichFan1997 on
Wow, what an amazing person. Did anyone see the piece on him on SportsCenter with him helping the disabled children? There was this one boy who was born without a jaw. They went to Disney, but the boys mom said her son was most excited to meet Kurt Warner, not Mickey Mouse. Yet, Warner remains so humble. He actually said he doesn't think people will remember him in five to ten years, but the people he touched will remember. That's too humble. I'll always remember Kurt Warner as a great player and person. Sorry for getting so off topic, but I thought this was worth a mention.

He is an inspiration. Using his platform to help people instead of "making it rain" in a strip club. I wonder if there really are more Kurt Warners out there than PacMan Jones'.(in the league that is)

I think the Kurt Warner types just don't get publicized enough. The problem (or maybe the good thing, I guess) is that the Kurt Warner types don't go out and seek attention like the thug types do.

Kurt's a great person and has had a pretty good career in the NFL. It's too bad that a lot of people always come back to his wife's antics when he played in St-Louis, notably when she called-in to radio sports shows. He deserves better than that.
