OT: The Game & The Game of Life: Mealers.
Possibly a snowflake thread, but I'll post it and let the board judge. This is a weekend of thanks and also the Game. Most of us are disappointed by the Team's performance on the field this year. The board is split on many other issues; DB, AB, RR and that legacy. However, I just finished watching the E60 Brock/Elliot Mealer broadcast, and I am proud. Proud to see that our rivalry is exceeded by the humanity we should embody. Thankful that we can come together and appreciate the things more germain (not Joe) in life. Having said that, beat Ohio, GO BLUE!

Mealer? Mealer. But I like the sentiment, and agree.

I was there when Brock led the team out of the tunnel in 2010. I really don't think there was a dry eye around me. I know someone was cutting Vidalias in my vicinity anyway...either that or the pollen in the air was getting to me. Either way, it was very moving.
I do agree with the sentiment as well - there are some things larger than rivalries or sports and this is a most excellent example of something we should all be able to rally around as human beings.
