OT - Citrus Bowl Info

Submitted by hoota122 on December 21st, 2019 at 7:49 PM

I’m taking my young nephew to his first Michigan game when the boys take on Alabama and he’s a huge Michigan fan. He’s hoping to catch the team as they walk into the stadium. Does anyone have any info as to where/when the team will walk in? Any other information as far as pregame festivities or recommended things to do would be greatly appreciated!

They will bus into the stadium probably behind security.  I would recommend getting into the stadium early and standing near the tunnel if he wants to get close to the players as they come out for warm ups.

Being familiar with the stadium there is one way in and one way out. Pretty easy to find once thru the gates. You won’t get much, but there is a spot to cheer the team on once you get in. Get in early

I hope you enjoy the game , I had a opportunity to attend the OSU game in AnnArbor , but declined.I was not going to pay $200 for a ticket that included a ride, parking and beer , because ,after attending the Army game , I knew as anyone with any knowledge of football , Michigan was going DOWN and it was not going to be a fun experience , and I am so happy I stayed home.

Hey , get with it , I love Michigan , been to the Army game , if we are lucky , we will be 8 and 4 , and my friend , we will not be in any playoff , maybe a bowl game in the south somewhere

fortunately he was wrong. we were unlucky yet finished better than his dire prediction.

$200.00 well kept in your pocket.

The Army game was quite the revelation. I saw the new OC is the same as the old OC.

But then so many got excited by the Indiana game. Michigan finally won comfortably over them. I guess they didn't know Indiana had already lost to any good team they played, including getting run over by Ohio St.

I'm not excited about the Alabama game, except I'll be watching the offensive line to see how it does against a premiere front 7. Ed Warinner is a big bright spot at Michigan.

I would check with UM ticket office for information. Usually the team will hold some kind of prep rally for the fans where the band and cheerleader will help fire everyone up

The band will definitely have a performance but I don't know where or when.  I remember from past trips to Orlando (when Michigan wasn't there) we saw football players at Disney World so I think the Bowl Committee schedules that as an activity but I don't know when.
