OT-Alternative to MLB.TV

Does anyone know of an alternative service to MLB.TV? This is the 2nd night in a row that I cannot access the Tiger's game. I called 'customer service' and they basically told me nothing except that I could watch the game later b/c it will be archived. This of course after asking me a million question making sure I knew how to access an actual website. Has anyone had similar problems with their service? Also, is there anyway in which I can actually watch these games without paying a company to not actually allow me to watch the games?
