OT ALERT: Tigres beisbol

Submitted by dex on

Since we've been banished from the comments, let's talk Tigers.

Went to the game yesterday - surprised they pulled out minus Maggs, Polanco, and with a not very good outing from Kenny. Is this turn around for real? What are predictions for the Twins series coming up? How bad is Maggs going to hurt, going on the DL during the biggest hot streak of the season for the team? Is Dontrelle out of Single-A yet? Does Dane Sardine make Inge more expendable? Why do I hate Ozzie Guillen so much?

Don't we have the back end of our rotation going vs. the Twins?  I don't predict good things.  Hell, I would predict good things if we had the front end going.  The Twinkies just seem to have our number.

So here's the non-list list:

If Bonine and Galaraga hold up, then the turn around is probably for realz.

As mentioned, it kind of sucks that the back end of the rotation is pitching this series.  I'm nervous about some of their lefties eating Bonine and Rrrrrrmando up.

Dontrelle pitched for the first time at Lakeland last night and was lackluster.  I think it was 2IP, 3BB, 1ER.

The only thing more expendable than Dane Sardinha is Mike DeBord's playbook.

You hate Guillen because he is Venezuelan and you hate all Venezuelans except Hugo "The People's Champ" Chavez.

The fact that Jay hasn't replied to this yet, despite Nate Robertson starting tomorrow, makes me worry that we lost him in the changeover.

Oh, and the fact that the back of the rotation is going doesn't matter - the Twins can't hit. At all.

Jay's commenting on the Tigers is directly related to if they are winning or losing. He will be back with an explitive filled rant about Robertson as soon as this pesky winning streak is over.

I miss you Jay!
