OT: 97.1 The Ticket

As a thread was recently started about the topic of something that Terry foster said earlier on the show, it got me wanting to know what the people of this blog's views are on the radio station and its indiviual shows. I listen to 97.1 the ticket everyday on my way too and from work in East Lansing from Jackson; whenever it comes in clearly that is.

I enjoy the station most of the time, seeing as it is one of the only sports radio stations that I can get to come in other than the DP show and Jim Rome show, which are okay but don't offer any insight into local sports. Here are my views and opinions on the seperate shows. Im copying and pasting from what i commented in the last post about TF, so i'll probably catch some crap for that, but so be it.

I really hate that The valenti and foster show is on the 2-6 time slot and thats what i have to hear on my way home for sports radio (that or thedr. And Bentley show/ Huge show which are okay). Valenti can be smart at times, but has his head so far up spartys ass that he can't aee clearly most of the time. Also, he reminds me of a car salesman, the kind that you run away from. Foster is a joke and a sell out. Together, they make a terrible duo.

I somewhat like Bill, Stony, and Sarah, mostly when they are talking non-sports related topics. They are nice to wake up to i guess.

I think that gator and karsh are very boring, especially karsh. Hes a great guy, i just find him particularly boring most of the time. I love hearing gator when he disagrees with a caller or karsh, it's funny.

But i mostly enjoy jamie and Wojo, mostly because Wojo's voice cracks me up. They are both pretty funny guys though and are interesting to listen to, and they seem to be pretty realistic and unbaised when it comes to soorts which is great. I wish there show was either in the morning or 2-6 time slot, not 6-8 so that I really never get to listen to them.

I know i left some out, but that's all. I ever listen to. Thise are my thoughts, yours?
