Very fun, I love NCAA and admittedly still play on the Xbox 360, especially as the season gets close and I'm blissfully ignorant on how the season will turn out.  (From my calculation, we're going to win the NCAA Championship)

I agree for the most part with what you put together, there are a few things here and there, but whatever, it's all made up anyway!  However, looking at the "create a player commits" and going off of your other comment   "In NCAA, anyone below a 75 on this team has no shot at starting in his career and is probably going to get cut if you recruit well. Top true freshman come in at 83, 84. I scaled it back from even that."

You don't seem to high on what we have incoming for next year.  Again, I agree with how you came up with this.  And the way I understand your thinking is that younger players, even freshman rated below 75, won't last long based on good recruiting.  With that said, you only have McGregor and Henning as incoming players who have a shot at being a valuable player.

I'm not trying to knock you on this very subjective ranking system, but based on what you came up with, what are your thoughts on the 2020 class so far?

Thanks for the fun.

A lot of people seem a touch high. It’s very hard for me to believe that every single starter on the team is 80 or above lol. The running backs, D-Line, and younger receivers seem very optimistic. Same with the backup safety trio. Low 80’s ratings are still above average Big Ten players in this game. If our actual team was as good as this roster I think we’d be by far the favorite for winning it all.

This actually isn't accurate. In Madden? Absolutely they're all too high.

NCAA? Not even close.

McKeon and Gil should probably have a point off, but that's semantics.

In NCAA the ratings are far more like school grades. So if you're an 80, that's a B- player.

If you're a "C" level player you're a 75 and so on.

In NCAA, anyone below a 75 on this team has no shot at starting in his career and is probably going to get cut if you recruit well. Top true freshman come in at 83, 84. I scaled it back from even that.

I think some forget how many players are in the 90s in NCAA vs. Madden.

We wouldn't have the best team, it wouldn't even be close. Shea would be a 95 in NCAA due that he's probably the #5-#10 best QB in the country and once you get through Tua, Lawrence and Herbert at 99 and 98...you have to slot him in there a few points behind those guys.

That's why the ratings were all so high, they basically ranked every player and then started at 96, 97, 98 or 99 and went down.

It was far more about where you ranked at your position throughout the country. Especially for the top guys.

DPJ would be over 90 as well. Dax would be an 84, easy.

I used that method, but also used the letter grade method as well to balance it out.

Bama would have like 12-15 position players over 90. I gave us 3 and 2 are OL who are considered one of the best at their position.

The thing that is most unrealistic to NCAA is the depth. I always hated how the starters would be rated high and someone like Cam McGrone would be a 74 on the verge of getting cut. THOSE are the players that I always give a little bump. Because WE know he's capable of starting...but EA Sports didn't scout that deep into rosters.

That's when I say, right now he's probably a C+, that's a 78/79 grade.
