More top lists for 2021 prospects
Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic defensive tackle Tywone Malone named Michigan to his top 14 (LINK). He's a 4-star, the #5 defensive tackle, and #56 overall, but someone in this thread will complain that he's not a top-55 player. He was a teammate of Jordan Morant.
Philadelphia (PA) Northeast cornerback Tyreek Chappell named Michigan to his top 5 (LINK). He's a 3-star, the #61 cornerback, and #757 overall.
I posted another thread earlier today with some leader lists, too (LINK).
Getting Tywone Malone would be a weally big get for us! Would be the best DL wecwuit we’ve had in years!
Don't be ridiculous.
He’s an idiot and he can’t help it.
I’m pwetty sure two jokes just flew over your head at once. Impwessive.
Guessing: widicuwous
What do you think our chances are with Malone?
MALONE!!!
OSU seems to be pushing hard for him, effectively pushing him and J.T. Tuimoloau as the last two pieces of this DL class (people started to speculate about Korey Foreman, but that doesn't have any traction). Malone only has two crystal balls right now (both to OSU), but the most recent one is from a much more reliable source than the first one. I know Malone has spoken positively on both OSU and Michigan in the past, and I am curious if that's his top two or if there is someone else in play.
Northeast high school? UNACCEPTABLE.
Glad to see the defensive backfield is getting major attention.

Wow! Malone has us in his top 14. Gotta love those odds.
Agreed - if we have sincere interest in any recruit (ie have offered and pursued) we better be in the top 14, lol!
chappell has a chance to be a good player, hed be a nice addition. looks like one of the more promising CB prospects ive seen them targeting (and apparently a realistic option). he and xavier worthy have to be 2 of the top skill athletes on their board at this point
Michigan looks great on lists.
Magnus - you do great work and scouting is much appreciated.
Which recruits do you see in 2020 and 2021 coming in as "dogs"? I.e. mamba mentality competitors with an "endless motor" for improvement? That's honestly what I care the most about now. Aidan, Cam McGrone, a few others on defense seem to have it. Is it quantifiable or verifiable via recruiting tape? I like stars and such but ultimately want competitors not part time stars who take plays off and buy into their own hype.
I believe Malone has been cb'd to OSU. Also the #1 DT from washington and the #1 wr are also supposed OSU leans.Osu's class could be historically the highest rated class in history. Sick.
