More Kiffin Douchery

apparently i've been the only one on here defending lane. but this could be completely taken out of context. both nu'keese and kiffin said they were joking around. this story seems compltely overblown given what just happened with urban meyer and people wanting to find more bad press on kiffin. anything that takes down florida is fine with me and kiffin is doing his part.

The correct term is douchebaggery.

What Lane Kiffin needs to learn and I'm sure he has, is that everything he says will be pulled into the public forum. Stuff like he said on wed. to "pump up alumni" is guaranteed to get out to Florida (see Charlie Weis "To hell with Michigan"). He should know better and was stupid for saying it. It would be like RR saying screw Ohio State to pump us up. I promise that would get OSU as fired up about and it would be dragged through the national media and reflect negatively on RR and Michigan. I am happy he did it so attention can be given to Tennessee and their rebuilding process and stop being negative piling on to Michigan. We can afford to be out of the spotlight of national media until it starts to be for positive results on the field. We deal w/ enough shit being rivals w/ OSU, MSU and ND. If I were a Tennessee fan I would be nervous as hell about the direction of my program under a guy that seems like he is 25 and is making dumb comments that fire up opposing fan bases of a rival who just happened to win a national championship. I would not be looking forward to Sept. when they have to play Florida on the road. It could get ugly. Go Blue!
