So ends the run of championships at 6.  Maybe it's time to move on from Bev Plocki as coach...

For the first time since 2006, the University of Minnesota captured the Big Ten women’s gymnastics title, taking the crown on Saturday night at Maturi Pavilion in Minneapolis. The Golden Gophers tallied a program-record 197.750 points, the fifth-highest score in meet history, to earn their sixth conference championship and snap Michigan’s streak of six consecutive titles.

Michigan finished second this year with 197.425 points, with Illinois and Iowa tying for third at 196.625. Rutgers placed fifth after posting the highest score during Saturday’s afternoon session (195.675), followed by Maryland (195.625), Penn State (195.475), Ohio State (195.225) and Nebraska (195.175).

a streak of 6 straight championships ended by a second place finish .325 points behind???? DAMN.... that's the kind of stuff we'd like from our football program.

GREAT JOB ladies!

You are recommending moving on from a coach that just won 6 straight conference tourneys and only lost this year's by losing to a historically good performance by another team?   Seems harsh...

I am hoping I missed /s in there.
