Love it. Beat the #13 team after everyone said the season was a wash and all people do is bitch.

Now I agree it wasn’t the most aesthetically pleasing game and you have to be frustrated with the offense but Jesus we just held a top 15 team to 1 rushing yard 3 points and are likely to be 5-1 to start the year. TRY to enjoy it a little.

Watching Dax run yesterday was sex in football form. That kid is so fast and so fluid. Had some really nice moments, him and McGrone both.

Both had some mistakes too (McGrone a huge no-no on the screen that converted 3rd and long), but I like living with the mistakes of the faster, more talented youth.

take you might not like to hear.

Iowa is a 5 loss team.

They were 4-0 vs Rutgers Middle Tenn St, a D2 team, and  2-2 Iowa St who almost lost to Northern Iowa and outgained Iowa by 150 yards in their game.

Iowa at #13 is as bad as Michigan at #8 or w/e we were pre Wisc. Iowa will not be ranked in the top 25 for the rest of the season after next week

Iowa will beat Penn State next week. Book it.

Iowa is a 9-3 team, maybe 8-4 if Nebraska figures a lot out by the final week of the season.

Iowa will lose to Wisconsin for sure. I don't see any other for sure losses on their schedule. Minnesota is a tough game but it's in Kinnick. Nebraska looks like crap but that's in Lincoln. I could see 8-4 and I could see 10-2. I can't see 7-5.

Rather watch the defensive highlights or rather highlights in general since the offense would only have about 4 plays.

Can’t make myself watch the Gattis Abortion again

Thanks for doing this! Pretty nice to be able to zip thru and be able to see each play.

Dax Hill is going to be some kind of player. He already is!

I watched the offense on Youtube because I was trying to figure out what is wrong with Patterson's game.   It seems like half the time he does an RPO he doesn't read, just hands it off no matter what.  He locks on to one receiver, bails out of clean pockets and doesn't release quickly enough.   But then, watch the first drive of the 4th quarter.   His head was on a swivel.   He got into rhythm.   He made decisive throws.   He stepped up when the pocket started to collapse.   He read on RPO's and always made the right decision.    On the 3rd down play in the red zone he actually made a great throw.   Sainristrill got a little shove in the back and fell down and the ball was just out of his reach.   Probably should have been a flag but if he doesn't fall that's a perfectly placed ball in tight coverage.

His inconsistent play makes no sense and I'm not one of those guys who believes the backup QB is the best player on the roster but if he doesn't get more consistent he might lose his starting job.

One other thing that jumped out at me when I watched the D was how much Iowa shot itself in the foot.   Stanley threw some really bad passes and his receivers had some bad drops.   Throw in all of the bad penalties and turnovers...I don't want to take anything away from our D but to me Iowa beat themselves.
