maybe we had a really good visit with adrian witty and we're promising the spot to him trying to guarantee robinson and himself.

actually there it sounds more like both universities were fairly confident hosley was just yanking them around and wasting their time. so they just saved their efforts and money and cancelled on him.

That seems more probable. This is hard to square with UM allegedly telling Peace that he had to play CB because they were in such need.
Unless last weekend went really, really, really, well.

well if the premium sites are correct and not just speculating, they were saying last weekend would end with a/several? commitments.

Neither of them said it like that. They said that the coaches felt confident after the weekend, not that they expected several commitments.

On the recruiting round up, Sam Webb said that there depth at corner is fine.

Hosley article on the USF Rivals site titled "Hosley Knows Where He's Going" that went up right after his official to USF. It even quoted him as saying "I'm going to take my other visits, but I know I'll end up a Bull"

Sam Webb said the same thing.

This sounds like the most plausible explanation. If he is basically saying "I'm going to USF, but you should spend the money and time to recruit me just so I can go sigh-seeing", we'd probably decline.

Dandy Don has Hosley as a lock to LSU.
