I don't think that would be the case. Tressel was running a program, and if he did it in a dirty way (which we know, but now we're talking even dirtier) the program is going to get gently placed back in the stone age. And by gently I mean bombed.
I disagree a little. If its all Tressel then yes most of the blame will lie on him and he will ride off into retirement glory to be a talking head on CBS or something. But regardless he was an employee of the university and I don't think they will escape all sanctions. At the least they will probably be on probation and vacate some specified games, lose scholly's, bowl ban and face a fine.
