Meta: Is there a baseball recruiting board somewhere??

Question: is there a baseball recruiting board somewhere? (I searched and have not come across one. Maybe formerlyanonymous has one?)

The reason I ask is USA Baseball holds the Tournament of The Stars here in Cary, NC, not three miles from my house. Every year they bring in the top 128 high school juniors and seniors for a week long tournament and selection process. My family has hosted two players for the tournament each year, so we get to go to all the games. It's fun to get to know the players and their families, and you get a week of all you can watch baseball.

Anyway, I have seen Michigan scouts at the games. (Part of the fun is watching who's watching.) It would be cool to know which players are prospects and commits, and then follow their careers at Michigan.

I personally don't have the time to keep up with baseball recruiting. I'll be the first to admit I'm not one of the fans that gets all excited about football recruiting either.  It's hard to keep up with stuff without that drive behind it.

On top of that, baseball recruiting is anyone's guess if you're not involved in the scouting or recruiting process. There is no scout/rivals service that keeps up with who is interested in who, although PerfectGame.org does rank prospects. The only way to know is if you're at those type of showcases, you track all of the kids who attend the school camps, or you just start calling up every kid across the nation to find their preferences. I don't think the university is allowed to mention names of those who haven't signed, so I'm kind of left without any help on who is being looked at. This means I have no idea who is being recruited but doesn't sign.

So, with me not having any of those resources, I just wait for newspaper articles to show up in my google alerts.  When I do find out about a commitment, they are posted under the baseball recruiting tag.
