Why are you confused? I haven't heard that he's officially off the team. Rumors galore have been floating around but nothing verified yet to my knowledge.

If he did transfer he will at least wait until the season ends. Pretty sure at least! That's what Mallet did. I think if he does transfer it is because of his own personal issues. Hopefully it's not because of Rich Rod.

Have we learned nothing today guys? Just because the Free Press puts it in an article, doesn't make it right. There was no quote, it just said that he is expected to play.

"Sam, some of you have followed him – he has a lot of family issues right now, but we're hoping he can come back tonight. We're not sure," said Rodriguez. "To make him available … he won't be as much in the plans as the guys who have been [playing]. Sam knows the offense pretty well, so if he can make it back tonight - again, that's a family excused absence. Hopefully whatever we're doing differently for this game, he'll get involved."
