Maybe Jozy Altidore can't play quarterback
This is potentially old news, but I didn't see anyone else mention it on the site.
Looks like we got another hit to our potential quarterback corps. Jozy Altidore will be out for a month following toe-nail surgery (ow! http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=638506&&cc=5901)

Well, it wasn't like Xerez was playing him anyways. At least this puts him back with some training time before the next round of qualifiers and the Confed Cup.
The qualifiers are going to be tough but we're fucked at the Confederations Cup anyway. Worst draw ever.
They said a few months. There's still plenty of time for the toenail to heal and have Jozy in Ann Arbor for fall practice.
