FWIW, since it seems like we just went through this in December, but at least it's the first I've heard Manny say anything one way or another...so, there's a chance, at least:

I am guessing that Manny knows he has played himself down to the second round and will make more money if he stays another year. Besides, I would really like to see Manny walk through life with a University of Michigan degree.

I agree, Manny with a Michigan degree would be a great thing. Not b/c it means he comes back for his senior year (I guess he could go pro this year and then come back and get it) but b/c it would put him in a much better position in life should things not work out like he hopes/expects. There is some guy the Daily did a piece on just a few days ago that Manny might want to speak with about the power of a Michigan degree... Mr. Bass, paging Mr. Bass.
(side note... how can we get Bass on the football staff?! Can you say "Worlds Greatest Recruiter")

but JB said they have not yet sat down to discuss it. So, I guess we still have to hear from JB on whether Manny is coming back.

Lets see what happens at the end of the year. If he finishes strong, and improves his draft position, he may chose to leave.

Hopefully Manny doesn't want to end his college career with an NIT bid (hopefully). Not that there is any tournament guarantee next year, but he definitely improves the team and our chances.
