Michigan added it's 2nd and 3rd B1G Titles for the Fall season today in Indiana (in addition to Field Hockey last week).

Women:

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- For the first time in more than a decade, the University of Michigan women's cross country team claimed back-to-back Big Ten titles as the No. 10-ranked Wolverines emerged victorious at the conference championships on Sunday (Oct. 29).

Redshirt seniors Jamie Morrissey and Gina Sereno earned first-team All-Big Ten honors and the Wolverines' remaining scorers came through clutch to lead Michigan to a team score of 55 points, 31 points clear of runner-up Minnesota.

Men:

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- From unranked in the preseason to conference champions, the No. 13-ranked University of Michigan men's cross country team continued its momentous 2017 season with its second Big Ten team title in the past three seasons on Sunday morning (Oct. 29). With the win, U-M springboards itself into position for an NCAA postseason run.

The Wolverines went wire-to-wire in the eight-kilometer (4.97-mile) race over the IU Championship Cross Country Course, leading at all seven intermediate checkpoints and holding off a late surge from in-state rival No. 15 Michigan State and defending champion Wisconsin to post a winning score of 71 points. The Spartans finished second with 82 points while the Badgers finished third (88).

There was a link on the Women’s Track and Field Facebook page that allowed me to watch the live updates/results on FloTrack (which was very cool). The site charted each runner and calculated team results each 1000m. It also indicated change in position per 1k.
Both teams led wire to wire. A truly inspired performance. Congratulations to all. Go Blue!
