M SB drops 1 slot to #12

The Michigan Softball team dropped 1 spot to #12 in this week's Coaches Poll.  The drop comes off an unexpected loss to unranked Maryland.  We helped ourselves by beating last year's Regional Champs and currently ranked #22 Kentucky.

Haylie Wagner was the star this weekend.  She pitched 14 scoreless innings in route to a 2-0 record.

We play this weekend in Clearwater Florida.  The schedule includes only non-ranked teams.  So this should be a good upcoming weekend.

Why do I have a feeling these two Young Guns are going to make the player of the week in the B1G a tough vote for the next four years.  Keep firing downhill girls.

I have a great feeling that the ladies are going to continue Michigan's B1G dominance.

I'm mad I didn't buy one of the B1G Champions 4-peat t-shirt MDen was selling when I had a chance. Hopefully the team can make it 5! Isn't the scoreboard at Alumni starting to run out of room for championship years?
