Looking for a place to Stay in AA For Indiana weekend
I was planning on taking my family to AA for the weekend of Nov 5-7 for the Indiana game. Unfortunately, I slacked in making hotel reservations and every hotel and Airbnb in AA is completely booked. Not a single option in town. Does anyone have any recommendations? Hotels not listed on Expedia? Apartments? Anything? Only requirement is clean (wife and kids coming) and private entrance (not a room in an apartment). It’s the only weekend we can make it this season. Thanks, MGoBlog community.

Probably too late.
I would stay outside of Ann Arbor and just Uber.
I've gotten good rates on nice hotels near the airport or in Plymouth.
Both times I Ubered to and from Ann Arbor on Friday, then drove and found parking on Saturday...
You also may be able to find something near Briarwood Mall with a free shuttle to the stadium. I've done that as well.
When I go this year, I'm doing an AirBnb because I'm bringing my dogs. And finding a pet friendly hotel in Ann Arbor on a game weekend is damn near impossible.

Holiday Express in Chelsea or other there.

It looks pretty booked up. If you are flying from out of town, I would book a hotel by airport and rent a car or Uber. It is about 1/2 hour drive to Ann Arbor.

You can try Brighton. I stayed there the weekend of the Washington game, as I got the tickets late and wasn't planning on being in town so all of the hotels were booked out. It was super convenient and a short drive down 23. Obviously if its a noon game you will want to leave really early to be safe as the freeway will be backed up trying to get in.
Best of luck finding a place!

Why not look for an air bnb or hotel like 99% of the population

From the OP...."every hotel and Airbnb in AA is completely booked." My question is, what part don't you understand?

Depending on where you are coming from, I have found Toledo to be convenient for football game weekends, and the hotels are much cheaper. This also helps break up my drive from Maryland. Staying near the airport also worked well on one trip.

You can usually find an affordable hotel or Airbnb in Jackson. Traffic is a lot better going that way since most people are headed east back to Metro Detroit burbs. It is a 40 min drive but sounds like youre in a desperate need

Maybe look for an airbnb in Chelsea or Dexter?
