kicking game

we all know that FG's were a disaster last year. hopefully, between wile and seth we can find a somewhat consistent kicker for field goals. another problem i had last year with our kickers was with kickoffs. from what i can remember, most were terribly short. this put our already struggling defense in an even worse position. this is where i think wile can have a huge impact if he can boom the ball so the opposing team isn't catching a kickoff at their own 15. IMO, this is a huge weapon to have if you can force teams to start at or inside their own 20 most of the time (i know this also depends on kick coverage but i like what we might have on that unit).

i am strictly going by memory as far as our kickoffs last year. maybe one of the stat gurus can provide some insight. GO BLUE!
