After leading the No. 10-ranked University of Michigan women's basketball team to a 13-4 conference record and 22 regular-season wins, head coach Kim Barnes Arico was named the Big Ten Coach of the Year by the coaches and media.

Naz Hillmon is Michigan's first ever 4-time All B1G first teamer, and Laila Phelia named to the all Freshman team. Leigha Brown was named 2nd team All B1G.
