Besides assistant coaches, I'm most interested to see what style of ball Howard brings. Its been awhile in both football and basketball where we have had a coach or coordinator come in and not know what their style is. Besides how current personnel fit in, I have no idea who to even start looking at recruiting wise because I dont even know his philosophy.
People are going to say that we won’t be considerably more post oriented, but that is non-sense. Particularly with essentially two seven footers on the current roster, you are going to see a good deal more work on the block next year. Howard was a phenomenal and cerebral post player and we will play inside out under him a good deal.
Is that still a thing in college basketball nowadays, playing inside out? I dont honestly know of many teams that play that way anymore.
Yes. It happens more in college ball more so than the NBA at this point. Look at our roster right now, we have to generate offense somehow.
