Nice!
That's great. Congrats to Joel!
Too bad he doesn't have another year of eligibility.
And not just because that would give us more time to spell his name.
Signed
that guy
I'm also tracking some former Wolverines whose eligibility was up or they declared.
- Zach Charbonnet (UCLA): 2nd round, 52nd overall to Seattle.
- Chuck Filiaga (Minnesota): UDFA, Green Bay.
- Hunter Reynolds (Utah State): UDFA, Tampa Bay
- Oliver Martin (Nebraska via Iowa): Not drafted, not signed but might be?
- O'Maury Samuels (NM State): Thought of trying to get a medshirt for 2022 (played in 5 games, with 9 carries) but declared for NFL, not drafted or signed.
- Phillip Paea (Utah State): Applying for a 7th year, in the portal
- Dylan McCaffrey (N.Colorado): Not drafted, not signed.
- Jaylen Kelly-Powell (Akron): Not drafted, not signed.
- Kurt Taylor (Tenn Tech via Iowa CCC): Not drafted, not signed.
- Osman Savage (Alabama A&M): Retired from football. Is now a coder.
- William Mohan (Tennessee): Kicked off team after arrest.
- Mustapha Muhammad (Kilgore JC): Retired from football.
- Adam Shibley (Notre Dame): Retired, works for the Big Ten now.
- Jordan Anthony (Troy): Retired after 2019. Now a trainer.
- Charles Thomas: Don't think he ended up anywhere?
Wow. Quite a few names on here I remember when they committed and was super pumped. Especially Oliver Martin and M. Muhammad. Hoping the guys that transferred and still played end up getting a chance.
Dylan McCaffrey is the biggest shock to me. I was really excited when he committed and thought he'd end up in the NFL based on his skill set and family line.
Same. I was excited to see him grow into a starting role here. Stupid cheap-shot by Wisconsin (am I remembering correctly?) derailed everything. Really too bad.

the paste-n-click, we need to add to every to person crying about "enters the transfer portal" ... and the outlier (Zack C) was gonna be 3rd string here
Pump It Up!
Osman Savage became a coder? That’s a great name for a hacker.
Good on him for deciding to do something with his education. Rooting for him all the way.
