Inside Pitch with LC (Michigan Softball)
Michigan Softball's senior catcher Lauren Connell has been writing a blog about the season (I think this is her second year doing so), posting once a week, typically on Mondays. If you haven't seen it before, I thought it might be of interest here as we're heading to WCWS weekend.
This week's post here is titled What the WCWS Means to Us. The search feature on www.mgoblue.com brings up her previous posts (though not in order for me), if you're interested in catching up on more of her thoughts.
Edited to make title clearer.

Love these player perspectives
what a remarkable group of women these athletes are. There is no question in my mind that this team is national championship caliber and deserving of the final trophy. But, of course, you have to demonstrate that on the field.
The eye of the tiger shines throughout this lineup from the Sierra's to the corner outfield positions and around the infield. This is a remarkable bunch of competitors led by a dynamic coach at her absolute zenith. We may not see a better team ever at Michigan in women's softball than this team. And that compares with their previous NC teams.
