History of "The Game" from reporters who covered
I thought this was an interesting history of "the Game" featuring Daily alums going to 1963 including Adam Schefter. I hadn't realized that the '63 game was originally scheduled for the day after JFK's assassination. For better (or more likely worse), I remember most of these games, subsequent to 1969, and was at the 2006 game following Bo's passing. I agree that in '97 every single person in the stadium seems to recognize how big the moment was, and don't remember relaxing until the final seconds.

Thanks for the share - this is a cool read. The story from 1978 on the freezing day in Bo's car makes this worth the read on it's own!

These same reporters probably covered “Romans vs Carthaginians” when it was once a rivalry too.

The "Ten Year War". The rivalry was unquestionably the best during that time.
