Here's an article on our program changing Heisman Finalist - Aidan Hutchinson!
I think Aidan Hutchinson's legacy will be that he was the player that changed the culture in the Harbaugh Era. Aidan's leadership, by example and words, helped create the atmosphere and mentality that Coach Harbaugh has wanted on his teams. Every program needs player leaders, and Aidan has been a transformational leader.
Meet the new Michigan... same as the old one. Leaders and Best

The Zack Novak award.

I'd call it the Trey Burke award. Burke's transformational play led this team to heights not seen in 20 years... the Final Four. I'd liken the Haskins impact to Novak, blue collar, underrated.

This is true in terms of talent. But Novak (and others, including Douglas) changed the culture of Michigan basketball. Hutch changed the culture. Novak Award.

Okay, you call your hypothetical award what you'd like, and I'll call my hypothetical award what I like. It's a win-win minus the dogmatism.

I'm just glad you spelled his name right not once, not twice, not thrice, but four times!

Like Stevie Y did for the Wings

He's like Novak but also the first overall draft pick and (soon-to-be) National Champion.

I am not used to liking NY Post articles but here we are!

LOL It's a guilty pleasure. I read the Times for serious news, and I used to read the NY Daily News for outlandish stories and NYC content, but they went pay. I need a good news chuckle with stories that are too low brow for the Times. NY Post does that.

Nice piece but I didn't care for the centrifugal force metaphor. I think Aidan is more like rocket fuel for the program...jet propulsion.
We're not spinning on the Rotor ride at Cedar Point or trying to get the last bit of ketchup out of the bottle.
