Great video on Michigan 2023 trick plays

Youtube suggested a great video by a coach highlighting the designs of various Michigan trick plays from the past season. I searched the first four pages (through the date this video was created) and didn't see it posted. Take a look.

I like to hear the outsider perspective personally when it's done in good taste and good faith. This video is a good watch, from a seemingly knowledged individual, about the minutia and brilliance of the play calling on both sides of the ball for Michigan.  Details that can somewhat go unnoticed at times.

While I think Brian and Seth do a great job, it's cool to hear a neutral party praise the right things our coaching staff is doing and executing on the field

Funny how the NCG was the one time they basically tried none of these. Precedent is that they'd try the pitch-throw, a flea-flicker, etc. at least once (and have it work), and yet none of that on their way to paving UW.

The defense was playing lights out against Washington, and the coaches seemed to know that they could turn it on when they needed it on offense.  And turn it on indeed is what they did on offense in the 4th quarter.

That was playing with fire way  too much for my nervous tastes, but they did that all season and it worked.  What do I know?

I’m not sure what others are thinking.. but, this is very disappointing.  Harbaugh and his staff - quite clearly - designed plays that could be confusing to opponents.  Where’s the “Intent to Deceive” infraction we’ve seen called against them before?

Oh - don’t forget about “the huddle”.  Using “the huddle” was another visible and obvious approach this staff used.   It seemed to me “the huddle” was outlawed several years ago - with all of the up tempo styles teams were deploying.

P.S. - I’m afraid of what penalties Petitti and opposing B1G coaches & ADs will suggest when they consider the impact of the conference’s Sportsmanship clause.
