great season, lots of heart

couldn't have asked for a better year in basketball. Thanks to all the players who all played with heart, especially seniors C.J. Lee and David Merritt. Lots of props to Novak as well for taking all the beatings this evening. Go Blue. EDIT: also a huge thank you to our coach and leader, John Beilein.

This program is going to be awesome. When your bench has that much production in the second year, the sky's the limit. Here's to next year.

A year ahead of schedule at least. This was a fantastic year, and that team played their asses off. I hope they have some sort of reception for the team when they get back from KC. Great year for M basketball. Great.

To stay within 10 points considering how little Manny was on the floor is an unbelievable effort. What can you say, they played their guts out. I was crushed when CJ Lee fouled out, he'll always be remembered in Michigan lore. And can we get this weekend's version of Anthony Wright next season?

turned out to be spot-on. Nevertheless, except for a few Amaker moments in the second half, they played hard and smart up to the very end. I'm proud as hell of this team and I'm looking forward to next year. Thanks for a great year guys.

I've running between the study and the living room today to catch all the action. Most of the game was on CBS, but they cut to Purdue for some stupid reason. I will give the CBS web some props... that live feed in HD was impressive. It's not the same as watching in on a 52" LCD, but beggers can't be choosers in Big 12 country.

Yes indeed. It was a fun season to watch out of many years of hardship, boredom (for the fans), and frustration (for both fans and players). These guys deserve all the praise but they probably have set the bar for themselves really high for next season.
