FOOTBALL EVE IN MICHIGAN

On this Eve before the football season

I take time out to give you good reason

 

To rejoice about the upcoming fall

And the Best Season of all

 

Fall is here

Begone warm temperatures

Can you feel it in the air?

 

Whatever team you like and support

You’re sure to gain ground with your retort

 

While I’m a MICHIGAN Fan

I know there are other teams around the land

 

A shout out even to MSU

With Grouchy Mark who smells like pooh! hahaha

 

And we Lions fans, we can hope

That this year’s season won’t be a joke

 

One Playoff Win in the modern era

Continues to cause pain and mass hysteria

 

So many memories of football games and the fall

When we were young and standing tall

 

The Michigan Jumpmen will go for it all

Harbaugh led, they can play ball

 

The Rose Bowl and the FCS

The ultimate goals; such a test

 

Whether the score is 45-0, 28-27 or just 3-2

I’m sure you’ll agree

That football is the life for me and you.

 

So go ahead drink your beers or wine spritzers!

Play your “corn hole” or bag toss

Cook your brats or Dogs

 

Please have a drink for me at every tailgate
