Extremely OT...Kalamazoo MI, bus driver beaten by a 16 year old on Tues.

That is really messed up. I'm from Kalamazoo (Portage to be exact) and this is kinda shocking. Not good press. I wonder what school these kids go to, maybe K-Central or Loy Norrix? Who knows, could be anywhere I suppose.

...some other kids had the balls to jump in front of him. (not very quickly, but better than nothing) That kid had some mental issues*, I heard from another news report.

I live in Kzoo as well, in fact the incident happened maybe a mile from my apartment complex. Anyhoo, apparently the kid has been diagnosed with both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, meaning he'll end up in a loony bin before he goes to prison.
I'm in Kalamazoo too. What a wonderful place to live!
