Gattis singlehandedly engineered two TDs in the first quarter, and Macdonald shut off the PA rollout with ease in the 2nd half. Michigan is extraordinarily lucky to have two elite coordinators in their 30s. We must keep them.

This is what happens when everyone does their job, staff and players. They all have a lot to be proud of.

The staff made the difference. I thought in past years that older experienced coaches would work well, and some NFL chops would surely be successful. Didn't work that way. Now Macdonald is all of that but younger. Also reinvigorated the entire staff. Seems to relate better to the players. Jimmy has had a lot of churn on the staff, and this time he got it right.

At this point I’m happy for them if they get a HC job somewhere. They’ve taken us to the top and that’s all we can ask for
