Top tackler on the #8 defensive squad?

I mean I'm glad they are recruiting LBs now with more sideline to sideline speed, Josh doesn't have that, but he's part of the leadership that has turned this season around.

I'm sure not disappointed in that.

Ross is what he is at this point. He has strengths and weaknesses and I don't think his play is a reflection of currently linebacker coaching. Hill-Green and Colson are young players that have played well and should only get better. The LB unit is probabaly the weak link of the defense right now but I don't think that's a long term problem.

I love idiots who try to "gatekeep" fandom.

I'll appreciate who I want, when I want.

This is a 9-1 team that was 2-4 last year, what's not to appreciate?

Yes and I'm sure last weeks struggles on the Oline where all my appreciation thread's fault.

What kind of fucked up fanbase doesn't want you to appreciate the team you root for?

Ross is what he is...a good leader, a good tackler, not the greatest instincts or play recognizition or elite quickness, but a good player.  I've been happy with Colson's development.  He is as good as advertised and I think blows up next year.  Hill-Green has been a pleasant surprise and better than I expected at this point in his career.  Barrett is seeing a resurgence.  Our edge guys have been fantastic.  They've been a pretty good unit that had some questions going into the season.  Overall, as with many position groups that had question marks, they have exceeded expectations.  They may not be elite, but they've been good enough to have a very good season.  That probably means some good things for Helow, McDonald, etc.  Hopefully one day soon we can make it over that hump where we don't have any holes on either side of the ball and can combine that with an elite QB.
