Clemson and Tulane

Does anyone else get a bit irked when ESPN and other sports sites/stations always attribute Michigan's failure this year to ZOMG NO PAT WHITE!?!?!?  I realize that it's gonna be a down year with the whole new QB and line thing, but its as though the clemson team that averaged 300 passing and 200 rushing yards a game, and the undefeated Tulane team never existed.  All it takes is to google Rich Rodriguez to see that he was wildly successful before he had the god of the spread option at QB.
