Chicagoans Unite This Saturday For a UM Victory
So plain and simple, there's quite a few mgoboard members living in the Chicago area. The game doesn't look good on paper but the team needs our support.
I propose a meeting of the board at one of the many north side UM friendly bars for the game this Saturday. I'm thinking Mad River or Maltida's (anyone ever been there?) over Duffy's since getting a table at Duffy's will be nigh impossible.
Anybody down for this?

and try to get a table at Duffy's. it's been gradually easier as the season has gone on (shocking, right?). if we can't, we'll head over to mad river.
i will then stay at whichever bar i start at and root for psu to beat msu (day drinking is great). i would go watch with my msu friends but me and my other michigan buddy were banned after we rejoiced in a hug and jumped up and down cheering at o'malleys when iowa got the go ahead touchdown over msu a few wks ago.

matilda's is okay. might as well go to duffy's for the last regular season game. you'll definitely feel like you're in a2.

and chalices of PBR....and when the game's over, listen to one of the best jukeboxes in the city...sounds good to me, thank you very much

Everything is all fine and good until OSU fans start showing up near the end of the game. Nothing infuriates me more then when they roll in taunting everyone. Last year I saw a girl get a whole 32 oz. mug of beer poured on her head. It was awesome.

Rockit in River North is actually a pretty good time. Given I havent watched a UM victory there yet, but the $15 buckets are a solid deal (considering the location)
