Brad Robbins wins starting job punting for the Bengals
To add insult to injury (because *lol*) they cut former Buckeye Drue Chrisman to give the job to Robbins in his rookie season.

He was so good for Michigan, albeit injuries got in the way of his best last season. Wishing him the best in his NFL career!

still won’t root for the Bengals
actually, this is great since rooting for Brad to be successful on the field a lot means they’re punting a ton
hoping he has a long a prosperous career!

An Ohio team cutting a player from the state university of Ohio because a Wolverine won the job is chef's kiss.

Go, Blue. Go, Robbins.

In other good news, Christopher Hinton made the chargers roster and Ronnie Bell made the 49ers.
In bad news, Ryan Hayes and Zach Gentry were both cut. In Gentry’s case, he may end up making it back on because the Steelers announced 2 punters on the roster but only 2 TEs.
Same goes for Mo Hurst and the browns. Not on the initial 53 but injured players they want to keep have to make the roster first before being put in IR. Once they go on IR, he’ll be added back. At least he better be. I’m a browns fan and he played great in the preseason.

Mo Hurst was a 2nd unit wrecking crew in the preseason. Not sure why he keeps getting cut. Amazed that Hinton made a roster over Hurst, but hopefully they'll both be playing Sundays.

I'm happy for Robbins, but I don't celebrate players being cut, even if they dared to attend the wrong school...
<yes i'm being that guy>

These are kids who are close to making the most money they could ever dream of but get cut and wind up taking an assistant coaching job at their old high school for 20k a year.
