Blake is obviously a great running back, but what makes him special is the kind of person he is, how he gives to others and his work ethic in sports and in the classroom.
All of these Those Who Stayed videos have a common thread, love of the school experience, devotion to teammates, and commitment to this upcoming season. It’s a special time for them and the rest of the team.
Grampy, I think Michigan's had a strong culture for a while. It's definitely, like most things in life, gone through "ebbs and flows" when it might be stronger or weaker. This being said, the culture and spirit in the locker room - across the team - seems to be exceptionally high and strong. It's great - and, I'm looking forward to this season.
Blake, definitely seems to be one of the reasons for this.
So very glad he's part of Michigan football - especially, with the dynamics of the college football landscape - transferring, NIL, etc. - over the past few years.
